Ran across the website. Great idea. Hope I can make it back for the reunion.

My bio:

After graduation, I took some classes at L&C and meandered for a while working odd jobs until 1992 when I enlisted in the Air Force - where I still am to this day. While stationed in Texas, I graduated from the University of Texas in 1997 with a degree in English. I am currently assigned to Diego Garcia, British Indian Ocean Territory (small island 7 degrees south of the equator south of India and Sri Lanka) and am preparing to be reassigned to the United States Embassy in Canberra, Australia in November 2007. I am also working on a second degree from Penn State University majoring in Political Science.

Update 12/14/08

G'day mate. Just got back from a TDY to New Zealand and Fiji (I know...a tough life, but somebody's got to do it!) and saw the e-mails about the December gathering - and the cancellation - so I thought I would drop a quick line to say G'day. From what I see on the news, it looks as if winter has hit most sections of the USA. Well, I am happy to report that it is warming up quite nicely down here. It will officially be summertime next week. Anyway, all is going great down here. I got my posting extended down here until 2012 and afterwards can either take another assignment or I can retire. I had the opportunity to go over to Alice Springs for work a couple weeks ago and spent Thanksgiving weekend at Uluru (or Ayers Rock) in the red desert part of central Australia. It was quite incredible. If you are still updating the web site, definitely feel free to update the attached, I look like a slob (it was about 95 - 100 all day long that day), but the rock is awesome! I'm headed down to Tasmania for work and a bit of a holiday in January, so I am definitely looking forward to that! That's about it from down here. Hope all is going well with you. Talk to you later mate and, as the Aussies say, have a Happy Christmas!

 Mike.
